Will the duvet fit in my washing machine?
Yes, the EasySleep® duvet is designed to be washed entirely in a washing machine. Its lightweight filling compresses easily, unlike traditional duvets. Here is the recommended washing machine capacity for each size:
- 140 × 200 cm: minimum 4 kg washing machine (suitable for all standard machines)
- 160 × 210 cm: minimum 5 kg washing machine
- 200 × 200 cm: minimum 6 kg washing machine
- 230 × 230 cm: minimum 7 kg washing machine
Top tip: The duvet should be able to move freely inside the drum without being tightly packed. If your washing machine is smaller than the recommended capacity, using a self-service launderette is an excellent alternative.
Please remember that the duvet should be washed at 50°C, using a gentle spin cycle (400–800 rpm). It air-dries in approximately 2 hours, or even faster in a tumble dryer on a low-heat setting.

The SoftCloud pillowcases measure 51 x 76 cm (20 x 30") and are designed for a modern, ergonomic shape for optimal comfort and restful sleep. If you use larger pillows (e.g. 65 x 65 cm (26 x 26")), we recommend using an inner pillow of the same size for a perfect fit.

The right size mainly depends on the width of your bed:
- Single bed (90–140 cm wide): choose 140 × 200 cm
- Single bed, for taller people: choose 160 × 210 cm, which is longer for greater comfort
- Double bed (140–160 cm wide): choose 200 × 200 cm
- Large double bed (180–200 cm wide): choose 230 × 230 cm, ideal if you sleep as a couple and want maximum space
If you're unsure between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one. A slightly larger duvet drapes better over the sides of the bed and helps prevent you from having to “pull” the duvet back during the night.

Yes, the EasySleep duvet is fully machine washable.
We recommend washing at 40°C at around 800 rpm. Our cover is designed to absorb far less sweat and dirt than traditional duvets, which is why 40°C is perfectly sufficient for everyday use, whilst preserving the material and extending its lifespan.
For a deeper clean every now and then, you can occasionally wash it at 60°C.
Afterwards, you can tumble dry or air dry. It is generally fully dry in around 2 hours when air dried.
